Circa early 1950s vintage Fred Perlberg dress - bright red with screened atomic era silver and bronze print throughout.
Strapless, with ruching on front bodice, very lightweight material.
Nipped waist, full skirt with six panel construction.
Left side seam zip closure, metal Talon zipper is covered.
Interior bodice boning at five points; front left and right, back left and right, right side seam.
Very gently elasticized line along the top front bodice edge, covered.
"Dance Originals by Fred Perlberg" label, as shown.
Material isn't noted, given the weight and overall volume/ crispness, I assume a nylon and or nylon/ acetate blend- fabric is about parachute weight.
Shown sans crinoline, though this looks fantastic with or without.

Condition is very, very good- elastic at top front edge may have been tighter at some point.
Dress is spotless.
There are two very small "holes" just above the hem, that can be seen when held to the light- my camera could not pick these up, and given the large sweep of fabric, quite minor but worth noting for accuracy.
Otherwise excellent.
Appears very seldom worn and exceedingly well kept - an absolute beauty!

Measurements:
for handy reference- the mannequin shown is 32.5" at the chest, 24" at the waist and 35" at the hips- this fits "her" well, with some bust allowance.
